Today on the Muzza Show July 25th

I was amazed to hear that Adam Lambert had been chosen to do some gigs with Queen.He is a good pop singer but certainly not a rock Star and certainly not in the same League as Freddy Mercury , the only similarity would be the fact that Freddy was a Queen and so is Adam Lambert.Perez Hilton heard every afternoon on The Flea, was at the Queen gig, and was not impressed with Adam Lamberts performance and he is a Lambert Fan. I met Freddy when he toured new Zealand back in the 80s and found himto be a great personality with tremendous humour . And the ensuing concert was possiblyone of the best I have ever seen. can lambert fill those shoes, I doubt it.

Tonight the following the 60s at 6 I have the first ever Album by Dire Straits, interesting to remember that Dire Straits got their first airplay right here in Auckland on the old Radio Hauraki, Fred Botica was doing the breakfast show in the late 70s and picked them up and started plugging “Sultans of swing”.The rest is of course history. Fred is now living in Perth where he is the highest rating Breakfast host ever having been number one for the past 20 ratings surveys. Good toe hear too that Muzza show was heard blasting out on a North Shore Bus run.
