A fire has badly damaged the roof of the recently opened Mac’s Brew Bar in Takapuna on last night. The Fire Service estimates up to a hundred people have been evacuated from the bar and neighbouring restaurants, in Hurstmere Road. More than 30 firefighters and eight fire engines are involved in battling the blaze.
