Come to Glenfield College’s Kaipatiki Theatre on Wednesday 11th of August at 7.30pm for a night of theatrical hillarity with the Theatresports Youth Programme Northern Area Festival.
Hosts Glenfield face off against teams from Westlake Girls, Massey and Rangitoto to see who is the quickest, the wittiest, and the most entertaining in a tight spot.
Theatresports is like the TV shows ‘Whose Line is it Anyway’ and ‘Thank God You’re Here’, in that the participants must get up on stage and improvise a scene given certain absurd parameters from the judges and audience.
The night promises to be one that will send you back with sore stomach muscles from too many belly-laughs.
Entry costs $2, and there will be various refreshments available for purchase in the interval.
