Don’t forget Earth Hour tonight

By Claire Ahuriri

Don’t forget, it’s Earth Hour at 8.30pm tonight, Saturday 27th of March.

That means that for an hour people around the world will be turning off their lights to show their support for action against pollution and damage done to the Earth.

If you want to celebrate it with other people, there is a free event at Kerr St Artspace in Devonport.

It starts with lanternmaking at the Kerr St Artspace at 5.30pm, followed by inspiring talks at 7.30pm.

At 8pm the group will take a procession up Mt Victoria, from the Kerr St carpark.
