Update :Tasman Trespasser just 7km from landing

At 10:15am Shaun is now just 7km’s off the beach.

At 9.15am Shaun Quincey was just 10km from 90 mile beach.

This from his blog on www.tasmantrespasser.com

Speaking to Shaun this morning he is very upbeat about his progress. Again he managed to minimise his Northerly drift. Since getting back on the oars this morning his progress east has been outstanding. Currently there are people on their way up Ninety Mile Beach to welcome Shaun and the Tasman Trespasser 2 home. If you are able to make your way there please do so.

What an amazing adventure, his final challenge still lays ahead of him. The Tasman providing challenges right to the very end with 3m swells hampering his landing and testing the big man! His tenacity and courage thus far will need to persist for a few more hours this morning, but we are confident with the help of supporters and Surf Life Saving crews this will be the final victory in a monumental journey.
