• Another Super 14 player, who has name suppression, appeared in the Whangarei District Court on Wednesday in connection with an alleged assault.

• A former national figure accused of indecently assaulting a 13-year-old girl was further remanded when he appeared in Nelson District Court today. The man, who has interim name suppression, was bailed until March 26

• Jinhui Cai, 22, Jiahua Shan, 19, Chen Chen, 19, Ka Ho Kao, 17, and a 21-year-old with name suppression have been jointly charged with importing pseudoephedrine, a Class C drug, and possession of pseudoephedrine for supply.

• The woman, who has continued interim name suppression, was remanded for another six days at Hillmorton Hospital when she appeared in Christchurch District Court today.

• A couple accused of raping a number of women in Hamilton can now be named after an appearance in Hamilton District Court yesterday. Maureen Samantha Iti, 32, from Tamahere, 9km south east of Hamilton, and Jason Lloyd Jones, 38, are charged with three counts of rape and one of unlawful connection, Fairfax Media reported.

• Former Green MP Sue Bradford’s son has been cleared of three charges of sexual violation. After a week-long trial, the jury found Joseph Henry Bradford, 20, of Dunedin, not guilty of three counts of sexual violation, including one of rape. Interim name suppression in the case lapsed yesterday.
