Surely the new lane should go all the way to the motorway. The busses already share the whole of Onewa T3 lane very well. Why not the last few hundred metres then there would be no need for the T3 traffic to merge with the other trafic in the last part. I carry 3 (sometimes 4) passengers and the hardest part is merging at the bottom as most people don't want to let you in, probably because they have spent up to half an hour getting to the bottom and don't like people like me getting in front of them.
