Revamped Queens Wharf Proposal Gets Thumbs Up

A revamped proposal to spruce up Queens Wharf has received approval from three Auckland mayors.

The public will get to see the new concept later in the week, but it has impressed Waitakere Mayor Bob Harvey, Manukau Mayor Len Brown and North Shore Mayor Andrew Williams.

However, Auckland City Mayor John Banks hasn’t changed his view from last year, believing a decision on the wharf shouldn’t be rushed before the Super City starts in November.
