- North Shore Hospital Foundation is having its DRIVE 4 LIFE, a charity golf day with prizes, and an auction,on Thursday 12th November from 1pm at the Waitemata Golf Course, Devonport.

- The TAKAPUNA SWIM AND RUN SERIES takes place between Thursday 12th November and Thursday 18th March next year on Takapuna Beach, and it is open to beginners and experienced competitors, from 11 years and older.

There are many types of race and many prizes to be won.

- MEDITATION FOR STRESS REDUCTION AND SELF-HEALING is available 7pm Wednesday 11th November at the Integrated Events Centre, Unit 12, 6 Airborne Drive, Albany, for $15 per class.
