TV show Go Girls, filmed by South Pacific Pictures, has caught the eye of former ABC executive Julia Franz, who is working right now on a pilot for a US series.
The main premise of the show is that the three main female characters make it their goal to be rich, famous and married within one year.
The show is being lauded as the North Shore’s answer to Outrageous Fortune, and a New Zealand kind of Sex in the City.
Liz Tuccillo, who was a story editor for Sex in the City, is working on writing the pilot episode.
The show has the potential to be carried over the world with its simple but creative premise.
The show is no longer airing on TV (it had been since February) but old episodes can be seen on www.tvnz.co.nz
