Dr Ian Graham Robinson, the cyclist struck down near Helensville this week, was training to take part in ‘The Great Ride for Heart 2010′, raising money for the National Heart Foundation.
Fundraising had only just opened at the start of this month for the races that were to take place over the country between the 1st and 14th of February.
However, his fundraising efforts continue. Friends of Dr Robinson have set up a website where people can donate. As of yesterday they had received almost a thousand dollars.
Anyone who wishes to support the legacy of Ian Graham Robinson can also donate to the National Heart Foundation.
If anyone is aware of the website details please let us know so we can provide the details for anyone who wishes to make a donation.
